The Ashtabula Arts Center invites you to experience the arts and make a difference at the same time by becoming a volunteer. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on arts-loving civic-minded individuals to help provide important volunteer services. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, including our teen-aged students, parents of our students, and retirees with additional time on their hands.

Box Office and Front of House

Volunteers are needed during dance and theater productions as ushers, ticket takers, concession workers, and 50/50 raffle ticket sellers. Productions include the G.B. Community Theater season, the Straw Hat Theatre summer season, The Nutcracker, the Spring Dance Concert, children’s theater productions, summer Concerts on the Lawn, and other special events that may take place during the year. In return, all volunteers see the production for free. Please call 440-964-3396 or e-mail the front desk to sign up; there is minimal training to learn our procedures for first-time volunteers.
